So I’ve finally taken the plunge and started blogging. My name is Richard Woollcott and I'm a freelance/contract software developer based in the South West of England.
The content of this blog will be focused on notes from my Xamarin development experience. I’m once more returning to mobile development after a break having developed WPF apps for the last few years.
I was originally in mobile development fairly early on starting out with the Psion/Symbian platform around 2000 before moving onto the Microsoft .Net Compact Framework on PDA’s and Embedded systems.
I'm posting my notes here that will hopefully help people out as I journey into the world of Xamarin, iOs and Android.
